Black Voices Matter is back by popular demand!


Volcanic Voices Presents Black Voices Matter at Mānoa Valley Theatre is bringing even more black voices to the forefront this Juneteenth weekend through poetry, music, and comedy! Juneteenth is the celebration of the official ending of the institution of slavery in America and we are commemorating this day by celebrating Black Arts and Culture. Featuring the Number One Slam Poet in the country, Black Chakra as well as Artists from all over Oahu. All hosted by the Hawaii Grand Slam Champion Z From Baltimore! This 2-day celebration goes down on June 17th and 18th and is sure to be inspiring, thought-provoking, and a lot of fun!
