"My experience with Ms. Ogilvie was truly amazing, and gave me a fresh perspective on acting. I enjoyed going through the process of breaking down each line of monologue or song, and focusing on each specific character for my musical theatre college audition. Ms. Ogilvie was a patient and thorough teacher, and she ensured that I felt as prepared as possible for my audition. Thanks to her wonderful guidance, I was accepted into the musical theatre program at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City! I will continue to utilize everything that I have learned from Ms. Ogilvie for the rest of my life."

"I'm not an actor, but I enjoyed learning from Julia how to read and interpret the text and make it come alive in performance.  Julia made Shakespeare accessible, fun, and exciting.  I highly recommend this class for actors and non-actors alike."

"Julia’ s class in Acting Shakespeare was immensely enjoyable and productive; I looked forward to each class. She not only taught me acting skills and techniques, specific to Shakespeare productions but demonstrated how these could also apply to the modern stage. Benefiting from her tremendous breadth and depth of training and experience, I grew more confident as an actor because I now have some reliable skills."
