MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Welcome to our production of "Tenderly: The Rosemary Clooney Musical." We are thrilled to bring you this heartfelt tribute to one of America's most beloved vocalists. Rosemary Clooney's legacy extends far beyond her smooth voice and unforgettable hits; her life story is a testament to resilience, passion, and the power of music. Rosemary Clooney, often remembered as the "Girl Singer," captivated audiences with her rich, warm voice and hits like "Come On-a My House" and "Mambo Italiano." Her career, which began in the 1940s, soared to great heights as she sang alongside legends such as Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra. However, Rosemary's journey was not without its challenges. She faced personal and professional struggles, including a battle with mental health. Beyond her musical talents, Rosemary was a devoted mother and grandmother. She also had a passion for community service, using her platform to support causes close to her heart. Rosemary's story is one of triumph over adversity, and her music continues to inspire and comfort listeners around the world. We hope "Tenderly" offers you a deeper understanding of the woman behind the iconic voice and a renewed appreciation for her contributions to the world of music and entertainment.
